The Reno was built in 1872 at the Baldwin Locomotive Works in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; bought by Old Tucson in September 1970.
The Reno Railroad Station, on the north end of Old Tucson, had played host to James Caan, Kirk Douglas, Clint Eastwood, Charlton Heston, Marie Osmond, Kurt Russell and Elizabeth Taylor, among others.
The train locomotive had been used in 1939's "Union Pacific" and 1946's "The Harvey Girls," where Judy Garland sings "On the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe."
