Artist's Description
Hurrell is considered one of the finest ;portrait photographers in Hollywood. He worked at Warner Brothers in the late 1930's/early 1940's, MGM in the early to mid 1940's and then freelanced.

{NOTE: Hurrell routinely retouched his negatives. Bogie's upper lip scar has been removed but is clearly visible in Karsh's 1954 portrait in frame 11.}
