Artist's Description

As he was in the Ida Lupino directed noir, "The Hitch-Hiker," William Talman (1916-1968) is appropriately menacing. What "The Naked City" did for New York City, this Republic Pictures film attempts to do for Chicago.

Chill Wills (taking a leave from his role as the voice of "Francis the Talking Mule") narrates as "The Voice of Chicago."
