"Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" (1910) is the first film version of Lewis Carroll's (1832-1898) classic novel. It was directed by Edwin S. Porter. The cinematographer, turned director, did his most innovative work for Thomas Alva Edison, "The Wizard of Menlo Park." 1880's-2008
