Our luxuriously soft beach towels are made from brushed microfiber with a 100% cotton back for extra absorption. The top of the towel has the image printed on it, and the back is white cotton. Our beach towels are available in two different sizes: beach towel (32" x 64") and beach sheet (37" x 74").
Don't let the fancy name confuse you... a beach sheet is just a large beach towel.

Duke produced this shot on location in Mexico 1951 film which starred champion skeet shooter Robert Stack (1919-2003) and was directed by ex bullfighter Budd Boetticher (1916-2001) in his first motion picture.
Advisor John Ford heavily edited the film, but the original has been restored.
Boetticher directed many classic Westerns starring Randolph Scott, most written by Burt Kennedy.
The Mexican born Rodolfo Acosta (1920-1974) is in the cast. He appeared in both "Young Billy Young" and & "The Great White Hope," whose sets I documented in both stills and film. He was also in 22 episodes, as Vaquero, of "The High Chaparral" TV series. He had a great, soulful face. Sadly I never got to photograph him.

While at the U of A, I studied with the master black and white photo essayist W. Eugene Smith (1918-1978) the last year of his life. I am the last person cited in Jim Hughes' definitive biography of Gene, as I wrote about attending his final...
