Description
Neville Brand (1921-1992) the fourth most decorated veteran in WW2, first appeared in the noir "DOA," released in 1950. "The Turning Point" also features Ray Teal (1902-1976) who acted in 14 noirs in all and radio actor Ted de Corsia (1904-1973) in eight including Orson Welles' "The Lady From Shanghai" (1948).
As with most of his Hollywood films, "Shanghai" was taken out of Welles' hands. The amusement park fun house sequence was drastically cut and the "Please Don't Kiss Me" song is endlessly repeated.
de Corsia is the one knocked out by Welles.
