Description
Anna May Wong (1905-1961) was the first and still the only Chinese-American super star.
Cinematographer James Wong Howe's cousin entered films as a teenager.
In 1922 she had the lead in the first Technicolor feature, "The Toll of the Sea." Red and green registered but not blue. The title cards were written by Francis Marion the highest paid woman screen writer in Hollywood.
