Description
In Nogales, Sonora, Mexico, street photographers would set up shop with a donkey (sometimes painted with stripes), a cart, gigantic sombrero props and a backdrop with Nogales and the year painted in bold letters.
In Guadalajara their photo brothers would use exaggerated, life-size human cutouts with half moons for the subjects to rest their chins on. This street photographer was strictly poverty row. From the dirty towel, business must have been brisk. Or perhaps he laundered infrequently. Here is Polaroid again.
The print would be dunked in the bucket containing the fixer and sloshed a few times.
