Description
The novel "Death Wish" was written by Tucson, Arizona resident Brian Garfield. In this, and five sequels, Charlie is on a rampage for what has been done to his wife and daughter by a gang of thugs.
Only he makes to attempt to find the gang members but strikes out at any and all suspicious types who hang out at night in Central Park or the back alleys of L.A.
During the golden age of film noir the dark alleys were on sound stages or studio's back lots.
