Description
One of the most savage, uncompromising films from a world class writer/director is Luis Bunuel's (1900-1993) "Los Olvidados." The 1950 Mexican made movie examines slum life in Mexico City.
This photo was taken in the US/Mexico border town of Nogales, Sonora, Mexico, and is of "El Bulla." The mentally challenged bag man was like a patron saint of the town. All who could looked after his well being, feeding and/or finding him shelter. He was accidentally killed by a truck. "El Bulla" would have fit right into the ambience of Bunuel's film without any change of wardrobe.
