Description
Ted DeGrazia was on a decades old quest to discover the "Lost Dutchman's Mine," just as Humphrey Bogart, Tim Holt and Walter Huston were out to find gold in the classic 1948 John Huston directed "The Treasure of the Sierra Madre."
All three meet up for the first time in the flop house Oso Negro (Black Bear), similar to Criterion Rooms in Tucson.
75 cents per night for a cot certainly beat sleeping outside at night, especially in the dead of winter.
