Chaplain Francis P. Duffy was the chaplain for "The Fighting 69th" infantry regiment in WW1. Here in Times Square his statue competes with Yul Brynner (1915-1985) in one of his numerous revivals of "The King & I."
Warner Brothers "69th" was released in January 1940.
