Description
Rita Hayworth's defining role is in the Charles Vidor (1900-1959) directed "Gilda," 1946. Cigarette smoking was almost required of performers in classic film noir.
She was sewn into her form fitting dress; the most celebrated creation by French born costume designer Jean Louis (1907-1997).
