Description
Director Victor Fleming (1883-1949) and Jean Harlow take a break from shooting 1933's "Bombshell" at Saguaro Nat'l Monument in Tucson, Arizona.
The former cameraman (note his 35mm camera) died 16 years later in another Arizona location - Cottonwood.
In 1939 he directed two classics "The Wizard of Oz" and "Gone With the Wind" back to back.
Earlier in 1916 he worked as a cinematographer on the Allan Dwan directed Douglas Fairbanks' "The Good Bad Man."
The Tucson shot feature was restored in 2014 and premiered at the San Francisco Silent Film Festival in the Castro Theater.
"The film has been thought lost for years."
