Artist's Description
In Johnny's final interview on August 20th, 2003, conducted by his close friend Bill Miller, the white haired, wheel chair bound Cash "withered by years of diabetes, asthma and glaucoma," discussed mortality.
Johnny recounted "It's all fleeting, as fame is fleeting. So are all the trappings of fame, all the money, the clothes, the furniture, of which I have lots."
Cash would be dead in three months, preceded in death by only a few months by his beloved June Carter.
While three years older than Presley, John outlived him by 26 years.
